Reid Lifting has launched a Porta-Davit with a winch instead of a chain block. Winch lifting can be easier and more precise than using a chain block. The aluminium Porta-Davit T can lift 500kg and has a beam reach of up to 2m. The crane fits into a concrete foundation hole – a ‘socket’ and packs down into two carry bags.
