Parker Filtration is offering a new range of hydraulic suction return line filters designed for use on mobile equipment with hydrostatic drives. The SRA filter series fulfils two functions – it filters the open circuit return oil at the top of the tank and supplies filtered oil, at low pressure, to the closed loop hydrostatic circuits.
Parker claims that the filter can be fitted in both metal and plastic tanks and that there are cost savings because there is no need for two separate return and charge pump filters. The SRA filters are rated at 10 bar maximum working pressure and are capable of return flows of up to 110 litres/min. Filtration is down to 10 micron and indicator options are visual or electronic.
