Rolls-Royce Material Handling has designed a new range of offshore cranes which are the result of two years of research and development.
The three new ram luffing models, which supplement the company’s Clarke Chapman and Stothert & Pitt lines, are intended particularly for use on floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels in any offshore condition.
Their modular design enables them to be manufactured worldwide, Rolls-Royce says.
Details of the new cranes were unveiled at May’s Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas in the USA.
