The range is initially available in 8mm (approx. 1/3 in), 10mm (5/12 in) and 13mm (1/2 in) diameters. According to Rud, the chains can work at 100% capacity from -60°C (-140°C) to 200°C (392°F). The lower temperature is 20°C (36°F) colder than its Grade 8 and Grade 10.
The pink-coloured ICE range includes a newly-designed Ice-Star hook and Ice-T Snappy chain tensioner, made of the same material.
