First of the three big European construction equipment shows in 2008 that are likely to include construction cranes is Verona’s triennial Samoter (5-9 March). The other two are Smopyc, the Zaragoza, Spain triennial fair (22-26 April), and Bologna, Italy’s SAIE, 15-18 October. It’s a tower crane year for SAIE.
Samoter is well supported by Liebherr, and is supported by many Italian crane producers including Terex Italia, Locatelli, Ormig, Benazzato Gru. There are plenty of trailer firms and component manufactures in attendance as well. Cranes Today will be represented by our Italian agents.
