This new crawler crane has a main boom of 230ft and a maximum extension of the fixed jib of 73ft.
The SCC8100-2 is fitted with Sany’s UltraCab 2, which is a slimmer version of Sany’s Porsche-designed UltraCab that features the industry’s most ergonomic operating environment such as large windows, air conditioning a sliding door and a premium MP3 sound system.
The engine is Cummins model QSL9, Tier4i with power of 341 hp (254 kW) at 1800 rpm. The crawler crane is equipped with a Rexroth hydraulic system, which has excellent micro-rotation and performance improvement, the company says.
Other features include an LMI with diagnostic capability, self-erecting functionality, extendable crawler tracks, ships with tracks and boom butt attached, free fall capacity main and auxiliary hoist.
With regard to track tension, operators can use the hydraulic tensioning jacks to adjust the tension of the track and they can also add adjusting shims to hold adjustment. Track frames can be retracted for transportation so that the overall transport width of the machine is within transport requirements, reducing assembly and disassembly time.
To operate safely, the new SCC8100-2 also provides a three-color load warning light. When the actual load is less than 92% of rated load, the green light is on. When the actual load is between 92% and 100% of the rated load, the yellow light is on, the pre-warning lights will ash and intermittent alarm will be issued. When the actual load reaches 100% of rated load, the red light is on, the pre-warning lights will ash and intermittent alarm will be issued. When the actual load reaches 102% of rated load, the machine will automatically stop hoisting functions.
The SCC8100-2 is in stock at Sany America headquarters in Peachtree City Georgia.
