Sany Group, the parent of crane and construction equipment manufacturer Sanmy Heavy Industries, has claimed to be the first private company in Hunan Province to exceed the CNY10bn a year sales mark.
The company said that Sany had made sales of CNY13.5bn ($1.89bn) in 2007. This was reported as a 65% increase on the previous year’s figures. The company said it had made a profit of CNY4.02bn ($565m). Auditted results are not available for the company.
