The crane’s maximum main boom is 120m long, and its maximum system length with jib is 96m + 96m. The massive crane has a 597kW Euro I-compliant engine (at 2,100rpm).
Sany is also showing a new crane for wind power turbines up to 1.5MW in scale, the SCC 2800 WE. Testing finishes in two-three months, Ge said. The first unit was sold to Nanjing Feihong.
Sany has sold three 900t crawlers, thirteen 430t crawlers and three 630t crawlers in 2008, Ge said.
In a press conference, Sany director Wenbo Xiang said that the company expects a total construction equipment sales revenue of more than CNY 20bn in 2008.
The first customer is Guangdong Lite.
