Crane manufacturer Liebherr is also speaking at the conference about the crossover points between lift and duty-cycle crawler cranes. It has also taken an exhibition table. Only three exhibition stands remain out of a total of 24.
Other recently-confirmed speakers include Potain engineering director Carsten Bohnenkamp, on the safety implications of the new tower crane standard EN 14439, and Wolffkran’s Mark Evans about tower cranes working on the prestigious Dubai Trump Tower project.
The event, held at the prestigious Shangri-La Hotel, will also feature a keynote speech from Alex Mullins, general manager of Al Jaber Heavy Lift, and a presentation by Dubai Municipality Buildings Department senior safety engineer Ahmed Khalil Abdul Kareem.
