Rebo in the Port of Oostende, Belgium, provides services for those involved in construction, operations and maintenance of the wind farms in the North Sea as well as other offshore activities.
Under the Memorandum of understanding signed mid-September, Sarens will work with Rebo to offer Rebo customers packages of port infrastructure, including heavy lift services.
At the same time Sarens will propose the Rebo terminal if its client is looking for a suitable location for offshore wind activities.
Both parties work together to provide the best solution on a technical level.
From February till July of this year Sarens was involved in transport, storage and pre-assembly of the various wind turbine components a related project for C-Power wind farm on the Thorntonbank.
