Witbank-based Richie Crane Hire uses 18 mobile cranes with capacities that range from 25t to 160t. The company is engaged in crane hire projects in the mining and construction sectors in the Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces of South Africa.
Scharrig Chief Operating Officer Robin Berry said: “We acquired Richie Crane Hire in line with our strategy to broaden our range of services and our client base. The business is well placed to benefit from increased infrastructure spend in the electricity, mining and construction sectors in particular.”
The acquisition depends on competition authority approval.
