The first section of the awards, rigging job of the year is split into three categories, by project cost. Barnhart won awards for the two most expensive categories, $750,000+ and $150,000–$750,000. The prize for lower cost jobs went to Vanguard of South Africa, who won the prize for installing a heavy double frame hydraulic press in tight conditions, for De Beers in Johannesburg.
The transport section is also split into different categories, with one award of special transport, using alternative equipment such as SPMTs, and two awards for trucking, split into two size classes. Fagioli SPA won the special transport prize, for a record breaking SPMT move, which saw the equipment used to carry two generators over more than 200 miles. Emmert International won the trucking awards, taking both size classes.
