Jackie Roskos, SC&RA director of marketing and membership, said on Tuesday (September 20): “This decision, made after consultation with members of the Executive Committee, was reached due to concern for the safety and well-being of everyone planning to attend the Workshop.
“Having monitored national weather forecasts right through this morning, the Association could see no other reasonable course of action because of projections that the storm would hit sooner than originally anticipated.”
