IHC Krimpen Shipyard will take responsibility for the building of the vessel under Yard No (7)716. Delivery will take place end 1st quarter 2010. IHC Krimpen Shipyard was acquired by IHC Holland Merwede BV’s as the fourth slipway of the group and was opened late last year.
The vessel is designed to support offshore construction of platforms, platform removal, subsea construction and special projects. The introduction of this Heavy Lift Vessel to the market will provide Seaway Heavy Lifting with another versatile vessel and will more than double Seaway Heavy Lifting’s capacity.
