The 880 EQ is not only the heaviest, but also the first machine that was constructed and tested in the new Sennebogen production work 3. During a small celebration, the machine was handed over by the management of Sennebogen and the responsible sales partner for Russia Kwintmadi to the customer Eurochem.

Eurochem belongs to the largest manufacturers and handlers of different minerals in the world. In the harbour at Murmansk, the 880 EQ with rail undercarriage will be the main machine for loading ships up to 60,000 GRT. Bulk materials with densities of 2.8 to 3 t per cu m will mainly be handled with the 3.5 or 4 cu m clamshell bucket.

A 30 t load hook will also be used for lifting tasks. The 880 EQ can reach up to 33 m and can load ca 14t at a reach of 26m.

A second identical 880 EQ is to be constructed and delivered within the next few weeks for Eurochem for harbour expansion. Around 1.5 million tonnes of material is handled per year in this harbour.

With the 10.5 m width and 6 m high rail undercarriage, the operator has a good view from 17 m. The cab is also set out 6 m to the front. The large floor window, which offers a view of the work-area under the cab is another major highlight.

In its basic version without any counter-balance compensation, the 880 has a working weight of 150 to 180 t and is the optimal solution for any task with a reach of max. 25 m and a load-capacity of e.g. 13.7 t at a reach of 21 m. Different cab variants in combination with customer-specific pylon heights guarantee the best all-round visibility for relaxing and secure working and an optimal adaptation to the respective job.

Electro-motors of different power classes are also available for the 880 series.

Sennebogen produces machinery at its Straubing and Wackersdorf sites in Germany. Products are distributed worldwide through an extensive dealer network. The Sennebogen Group employs over 1,000 staff and has a turnover of 310 million EUR.
