Siemens said that the deal includes a seven-year finance lease of approximately £2.6m, taking into account the significant residual value of the crane at the end of the financing period. Monthly finance payments are spread over this time and aligned with the cash flow generated by the asset.

The eight-axle all-terrain crane is equipped with a seven-section, 84m telescopic boom and has a maximum lifting capacity of 500t.

The lattice jib, reaching lengths of up to 91m, extends the operating range of the crane to 142m hoisting height and 108m reach.

In July, Baldwins also concluded another finance lease deal with SFS for the acquisition of three Nooteboom trailers costing £340,000.
