One job was for the Yokohama, Japan-based edible oils manufacturer Nisshin Oillio Group. The company operates 19 oil-filling plants with a silo capacity of 111,000t.
The company needed to move two 32m high, 20m wide and 1,400t processing towers. The company used two sets of 32 lines of Goldhofer PST/SL modular trailers in a self-rider combination.
In Thailand, Silamas also transported a 792t, 80m-long reactor vessel from Map Ta Phut port to Nankai Slot’s Chonburi-based production facility. The company moved the reactor with two coupled Goldhofer PST/SL trailers of 26 axle lines in a self-drive configuration with two 490hp drive heads.
Silamas has 60 axle lines in stock and has recently ordered 96 more, including 24 of the new PST/SL-E lines.
