Brittany, France-based multi-service provider specialising in lifting, handling, demolition, industrial relocation, transport, equipment rental, and real estate services has added the first Tadano AC 5.250L-2 all terrain crane in France to its fleet.

The crane has a 79-metre main boom and a maximum system length of 109 metres. This reach makes it suitable for a wide range of lifting work – especially jobs such as placing HVAC units over tall structures or erecting tower cranes. Its ability to stay under the 12-tonne axle load limit means it can travel quickly and easily between sites without requiring special permits. “We already operate several Tadano all terrain cranes, which demonstrate excellent performance and reliability”, says Peggy Guenault, general manager of Sotrama. “We have just received our new crane, equipped with the necessary extensions to extend the boom to 91 meters, and it is already in operation. We are not wasting any time. Such a reach on a 250-tonne crane is simply remarkable.”
