Speedy Power, part of Speedy Hire plc in the UK, has won a five-year contract to manage and supply all plant and associated equipment, tools, power, and lifting equipment to Fleet Support (FSL) at HM Naval Base in Portsmouth, UK.
Under the agreement, Speedy will provide equipment including lifting gear, and manage on behalf of FSL activities such as cranes, powered access, and specialist power generation equipment.
Lee Braham, Single Source Market Manager for Speedy Power stated: “All plant and equipment provision will be proactively managed by Speedy and we will also be delivering a range of managed services across the naval base and beyond.”
FSL is a naval support company operating within a partnering agreement with the Naval Base Command at Portsmouth. Activities include ship repair and engineering, logistics and estates management.
