Nicknamed the City Boy, and based on the principles of a city crane, its 12.8 x 2.5 x 4m dimensions have been designed to allow the 84t maximum capacity crane to manoeuvre among the space restrictions of urban environments.

With the jib horizontal and a 90° slewing range, the new model lifts 2t to a 28.5m hook height with a working radius of 36m. Raising the jib, a 53.15m hook height lifts 2t with a 25.8m radius.

Spierings is calling the SK387-AT3 a ‘green crane’ for its small transport size, and suggests it will save on fuel costs because it doesn’t require a truck cabin. Further details will be released at Bauma.
