Six sets of lifting magnets, designed by Boxmag-Rapid for Kawasaki Heavy Industries of Japan, have been commissioned at the New Section Mill Project of the Tung Ho Steel Enterprise Corporation in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
The magnets, for lifting steel sections, are installed on overhead travelling cranes manufactured by Air Star Enterprise Co of Taiwan.
Boxmag-Rapid lifting magnet systems include emergency battery back-up in the event of mains AC supply being interrupted.
