Use of radio remote controls on loader cranes has become virtually standard. Specifically on loader cranes, where stepless control of movements is needed, the solution is proportional control, ensuring a higher power and safer working conditions.

New from Hetronic is the Base Board Module System, or BMS, which is a wireless programmable control where all proportional functions can be adjusted from the transmitter – initial speeds as well as final speeds.

The receiver does not need to be opened for any adjustments because of a specifically designed program key. Programming can be done from a laptop or a PC, allowing OEMs or dealers always to load the same values for the same types of crane.

An additional option is the possibility to choose between either a linear or an exponential response curve on the output.

As with other Hetronic controls, the BMS has start interlocked functions, zero contacts on the joysticks, safety relay, directional contacts, a frame to protect against accidental activation and a self-monitoring solid state emergency stop. Safety indicators display all necessary information on working conditions.
