UK load monitoring and weighing device manufacturer Straightpoint has formed an exclusive agreement with US firm Intelligent Industries, who will distribute the British firm’s products across the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Straighpoint sales director David Ayling took the opportunity of the deal’s announcement to trumpet a relaunch of the firm’s Loadlink range of loadcells.
The new loadcells will feature a range of improvements. A new overload counter is aimed at the rental market. The device is also fitted with a user adjustable audible alarm, and can be adjusted to show weights in both imperial and metric measurements. Improvements to the design increase its battery life by 45%.
