The LTM 11200-9.1 will primarily be used on projects directly related to growth in the domestic and international wind markets, including the installation of wind power systems. Other potential applications include power station construction, bridge building and industrial applications.
The 1,200t capacity LTM 11200-9.1 is considered the biggest roadable mobile crane yet developed, and is equipped with a 100m telescopic boom, Y-guying system and lattice jib. Liebherr said this makes it ideal for wind power system assembly.
Senn placed its order at Intermat. The crane is due to be delivered in 2010.
