The SHAS-Series Synchronous Hoist is a below-thehook crane attachment comprised of multiple self- contained, PLC-controlled hydraulic lifting devices.
The system allows a single crane to precisely position heavy and unbalanced loads and each of the lifting devices includes a double-acting hydraulic push pull cylinder with an integrated pump and controls. Integrating the pump eliminates the need for an external power pack and hydraulic hoses.
The wireless remote control ensures a single operator can control the SyncHoist while remaining at a safe distance and the system can perform several types of movements, including synchronous lifting and lowering, balancing, and tilting, all of which can be pre-programmed.
Maarten Franken, Marketing Director EMEA & India and Global Marketing Communications Enerpac says: "The Autonomous SyncHoist System is the latest in a growing range of SyncHoist systems developed to provide accurate, safe and cost-effective positioning of heavy and unbalanced loads, without the need for multiple cranes."
The lifting cylinders are available between 110 and 225t lifting capacities for each, plunger strokes of 1 and 1.5m and capable of high precision lifting accuracy of plus or minus 1mm over a full stroke.
In addition, each of the four lifting cylinders, with lifting points, comes in a convenient storage and transportation frame and it is simple and easy to set-up with just one electric connection per lifting point. Enerpac introduces a new addition to its EVO-Series Synchronous Lifting Systems, the EVO-Mini (EVOM), which combines high-pressure hydraulics with a PLC- system to monitor precise movement and positioning of heavy loads in a compact package.
The multi-functional EVO-Mini can be used with standard 700 bar single or double-acting cylinders and it is offered with hydraulic power units, based on industry-proven standard Enerpac pumps.
The system also provides manual and automatic control modes and can control up to 8 jacking points with one hydraulic power unit (HPU).
Peter Crisci, Global Business Development Leader at Enerpac says, "The EVO-Mini system allows one device to control the entire lifting operation while providing status updates at every point of the process, without the need for manual monitoring."
