Japanese crane manufacturers Tadano and US based Link-Belt Construction Equipment have ended their supply deal, by mutual agreement, meaning Tadano all-terrain cranes will no longer be sold under the Link-Belt brand name.

Link-Belt had supplied the North, Central and Caribbean markets with Tadano Faun-manufactured all terrain cranes under the agreement, which now will be sold exclusively by Tadano. In a joint statement released by the two firms, it was claimed that the move will not affect the customer support for all-terrain cranes sold under the arrangement. The firms claimed: “A termination agreement……places a high priority on the interests of customers that own the Link-Belt branded all terrain cranes and includes long term commitments on the part of both Tadano Faun and Link-Belt in customer support areas such as parts supply and technical support.”
