Tadano, Japan’s leading manufacturer of telescopic boom mobile cranes, is forecasting sales of Yen 93 billion ($882m) for the year to 31 March 2004 and a strong return to profitability.
In a statement dated 10 February it also said that it expected to make a net profit of Yen 2.3 billion ($21.8m).
Previously Tadano had forecasted sales of Yen 90 billion and a net profit of Yen 2.1 billion.
Last financial year, to 31 March 2003, Tadano has sales of Yen 83.07 billion ($788m) and made a net loss of Yen 637 million ($6m).
