The order comprises units from across the current Terex rough terrain range, which consists of models with capacities ranging from 35t to 90t, as well as of the upcoming TRT 90 that will feature a new TEOS operating system. The deliveries of the machines will commence in April and will be completed within 2021.
Andrea Pavoni, sales manager at Tecno Gru, said: “Historically we have ordered stock machines towards the end of a year, but this year due to obvious circumstances, preferred to wait and fully assess the market demand. With this exercise now complete, we were delighted to place this significant order with Terex. We believe this investment, just as things are starting to improve, will give us a distinct advantage over our competitors.”
Stefania Dapoli, senior sales manager RT cranes at Terex, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to secure this new and significant order. Our partnership with Tecno Gru continues to go from strength to strength and really is a huge success story. We are seeing increasing activity in our wider business and a real passion across all our teams to build and deliver these cranes to Tecno Gru.”
