Two Swedish manufacturers of radio remote control systems have merged their sales and marketing operations.
Datek and Tele Radio have agreed to channel their products through a common distribution network, to offer customers a more complete product line-up. Tele Radio produces a range of smaller hand-held transmitters, while Datek’s systems are more complex and designed for heavier duty applications.
Tele Radio, based in Gothenburg, has been manufacturing radio remote controls since 1955. Datek, based 500km away in Stockholm, introduced its first system 1979.
