Terex Equipment Services and Crane America Services will combine with Terex Material Handling and Port Solutions Services, North America.
A new body under Terex Aerial Work Platform business segment, Terex Services North America, will provide all the services.
It will be headed by Siva Balakrishnan, Terex Aerial Work Platform vice president and general manager, Terex Services North America.
It will also service Terex’s tower cranes and new ‘Genie’ aerial work platforms.
Nine-hundred service people will operate in 50 geographical markets.
Terex Equipment Services and Crane America Services have already been combined in Columbus, Ohio and Denver, Colorado.
Balakrishnan said, "The two North American service organizations have already been very successful in their own right."
"Terex Services customers will now benefit from a deeper pool of resources and expanded geographical coverage, as well as the combined ability of Terex Services to service a broader range of products at their sites.
"We will continue to work closely with MH & PS to provide industrial crane customers excellent support, as well as service for new product lines, such as Terex tower cranes and Genie aerial work platforms," said Balakrishnan.
The services rearrangement will be effective from December 2012.
