The CTL 140-10 TS21 tower cranes have been customised to the requirements of Norwegian offshore and maritime service facilities provider Westcon. This includes suiting the existing quay portal set-up, featuring a floating dock and travelling unit with rails at two different heights.

Floating dock

The system provided by Terex includes different length legs to fit the existing floating dock, and a 10t lifting capacity on each crane.

The standard CLT 140-10 TS21 features a 1.6-2.1m tower, 30-50m jib length and lifting capacity of 8-10t.

“With the two CTL 140 cranes we more than doubled our lifting capacity and work radii at the dock,” said Arne Matre, Westcon operations manager.

“We will realise enormous savings in crane hours and know that the Nordic Terex Crane team in Helsingborg, Sweden is only a few hours away to support us if needed.”
