Terex will supply one of its new Roadmaster 9000 truck cranes to the expanding Bay Crane, a transportation and logistics services provider based in New York.

The crane was bought as part of Bay Crane’s plan to expand into new locations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Jersey.

The Roadmaster 9000 was introduced at March Conexpo, and marketed specifically to US users, Terex says. With 81t of lifting capacity, a 50m boom and a system length of 74m, it may be configured for road transport in all US states.

“The Roadmaster 9000 was built with and for our North American customers,” said Frank Bardonaro, Vice President, Terex Cranes Americas. ”We listened carefully to find out what they needed to be as competitive as possible in the under 100USt class crane rental environment. The overwhelming consensus was clear - everyone wants a crane that is less expensive to operate and maintain than an all-terrain crane, while offering equivalent lifting capacity.”Terex supplies to Bay Crane
