Wire rope manufacturer Bridon Ropes has appointed the Thai Mui Trading company to distribute its crane rope products throughout Thailand.
Bridon technical manager David Hewitt said: ‘Thai Mui Trading is a growing and well respected, knowledgeable company. We hope the new partnership will enable us to increase sales of crane rope throughout Thailand. They will work with us with the full support of Bridon International, including Bridon Singapore, part of the Bridon worldwide distribution network.’
Since signing the deal, Hewitt has delivered a series of seminars on the safe use of Bridon products to customers of Thai Mui in Bangkok, Pattaya and Songkhla. The seminars were presented alongside other industrial lifting product manufacturers, including Talurit AB (suppliers of aluminium ferrule secured eye systems) and Forge France (suppliers of hooks and other lifting components).
Veerakiat Leelaprachakul, sales director of Thai Mui Trading, said: ‘The seminars were extremely well received by our customers, the information was useful and the need to use quality lifting products was well communicated.’
