Bay Crane in New York, USA, has said it is purchasing seven new Liebherr all terrain cranes this autumn with the intention of using the Liebherrs to modernise and expand its existing all terrain fleet and offer more options to its customer base in the Northeast.

The Liebherr all terrains provide lifting capacities ranging from 100–400USt.

The company said that its new all terrain crane order includes one LTM 1350.6 and four additional LTM 1220.5, and that these cranes will be provided with additional equipment and options.

Bay Crane has been building its fleet in recent months, adding new rough terrains and truck cranes with deliveries from from Tadano America.

Big Tadano orders added six new 100USt GR 1000 XL; six new 50USt GR 500 XL; as well as nine new GS 300 XL truck cranes.

Josh Wilbur, manager of Bay Crane Northeast Operations, said: “We have made significant penetration into the Northeast US with our strong fleet of 15 to 80USt Tadano Rough Terrain Cranes. We have been fortunate to  see tremendous market acceptance of the Tadano cranes by both customers but especially local crane operators and equipment superintendents. The addition of 6 additional 100USt capacity rough terrain cranes will add tremendous depth to our strong Northeast lineup.”
