Loader crane manufacturer Atlas-Terex has appointed Thistle Hydraulic Solutions as its dealer for the north of Scotland.
With depots in Aberdeen, Peterhead and Old Deer, Thistle will now be responsible for the sale, support and maintenance of Atlas-Terex loader cranes throughout the territory.
Thistle Hydraulic Solutions is a subsidiary of Thistle Marine. Founded in 1975, Thistle Marine specialises in the design, manufacture, service and repair of all types of hydraulic equipment.
Thistle Marine managing director Jim Clark said: “This is a natural and logical extension of our business which capitalises on our proven track record and in-depth knowledge of hydraulics. It will broaden our activities based on the technical skills already available to us. The fit with Atlas-Terex is perfect.” Atlas-Terex produces more than 40 different models of loader cranes, from 1tm up to 60tm.
