Tiong Woon acquired the 1,250t crane in March 2004, and it has since worked on four jobs in Thailand – namely the Songkhla Gas Separation Plant 1, the TOC New Parallel C3 Train, the BLCP Coal Fired Power Plant and the TOC Ethylin Oxide & Ethylin Glycol Plant. It is among a fleet of 174 models comprising other Demag, IHI and Liebherr cranes.
The CC 8800 can lift approximately 127t at 102m working radius or approximately 400t at a main boom length of 108m. The crane has a maximum reach of 216m and can lift up to 50t at this reach.
