A Kennis 8000R trailer-mounted loader crane has proved so effective at reducing loading and unloading times that brick and block transport specialist Inta-Site Haulage of the UK has ordered another two units.
Unlike most systems, the Dutch-built Kennis can move up and down the trailer with the grab fully loaded and extended, saving time shunting the truck into position. Inta-Site reckons that this has cut the time it takes to load or unload the truck from 40 minutes to 20 minutes. The 8000R model has a load moment of 8tm and a reach of 5.85m.
