Tulsa Winch has continued its consolidation of North American winch manufacturers by acquiring Canada’s Pullmaster Winch, which makes hydraulic planetary winches up to 23t capacity.

Stan Hrescak, who founded Pullmaster Winch in 1965, will now retire, but all other management, as well as the operations, will remain intact. The brand identity of Pullmaster will also be retained as Pullmaster does not compete directly either with Tulsa or with DP Winch, which Tulsa acquired in December 1999. Each company has slightly different market positions.

Tulsa Winch is itself a subsidiary of Dover Resources, a group which also includes crane monitoring systems manufacturer Greer Company.
