The company’s joint venture factory in China, Comansa JIE, has sold more than 30 cranes in Singapore. All the units delivered are the 21 CJ 290, which can lift 2.7t at 74m jib-end. It has a maximum free-standing height of 65m and maximum load of 18t.

The group said it was confident of further success in Singapore and Southeast Asia in the next few years.

At November’s Bauma China in Shanghai, the joint venture company is launching the 10 CJ 140 crane, a version of Linden Comansa’s 10 LC 140 for the Asian markets. This flat-top tower crane has a free standing height of 64.4m, and a radius of 60m. With a maximum load of 8t, it can load up to 2,000 kilos at the jib end.
