The locally manufactured crawler crane was working on a construction site on Naberezhno-Khreschatytska Street in the Podilskyi district of Kiev, Ukraine. At around 5pm yesterday, 26 July, the boom of the crane fell into a nearby road, crushing the cab of a passing towtruck. Both the truck driver and a passenger were seriously injured, and taken to hospital. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
