The Environment Agency, a UK government body with environmental protection responsibilities, has taken delivery of a new Hyco RT121, a 30t capacity rough terrain.
It will be used for general lifting duties in the agency’s riverside yards. The order was won in open tender by Hyco’s UK distributor Claxton International. Claxton says that it also has orders for three further Hyco RT’s from UK customers.
The Hyco RT121 features two- or four-wheel steer with crab facility, 2 x 4 and 4 x 4 drive, six-speed Clarke automatic gearbox,high and low range, Perkins engine, Kessler axles, 25.4m boom length and a 3B6 rated capacity indicator.
