Sennebogen’s dealer for the UK and Ireland, EH Hassell, has sold its first Sennebogen port crane in Ireland to Agri Shipping and the first Sennebogen dragline in the UK to Aggregate Industries.
The 640R/KB dragline will work at a gravel pit in Staffordshire after it has been delivered in the middle of this year.
The 640HD port crane has a lifting capacity of 50t and was chosen, according to Paul Sweeney of Agri Shipping, because "it is much easier to drive and much faster". The clamshell bucket of the crane is 66% bigger than previous models, which was another factor behind Agris choosing the crane.
