The Unic URW-706 has a lifting capacity of 6t at 3m, with a hook height of 19.5m. It has a maximum working radius of 18.6m, and can slew continuously over 360°. The URW-706 mini crane also features an optional 3.1m-long stowable fly jib, together with an optional searcher hook.
The Grand Pier at Weston-super-Mare was destroyed by fire in July 2008. It is scheduled to reopen during summer 2010, and will feature a new 85m-high viewing platform
The mini crane has been used to lift heavy decking and construct the steel superstructure of the new pier.
