VANSON CRANES, UK distributor of Raimondi cranes, introduced the VCT 25 ‘fast two’ self-erecting tower crane at the SED construction equipment show last month.

The crane is built by OMV in Italy to Vanson’s specifications. It is self-contained in the transport position, including hydraulic jacks, all the required ballast and a diesel generator, and sits on a twin axle bogey for towing behind a tractor unit.

The VCT 25 can lift 2t from 2m out to a radius of 10.8m, and at 25m it lifts 750kg. Hook height is 19.5m in horizontal position but it can luff to a height of 31.4m.
