With a hook height of 23 metres in the horizontal position and with a maximum luffed height of 31.4 metres, it is suitable for a whole range of lifting operations.
The VC27 has a hydraulic self-erection system, with self-contained ballast, can be erected with two people.
To avoid abrupt speed changes each model features a ‘soft-start’ system which is fitted to all the crane’s motions- hoist, trolley and slew. This technology effectively manages the steps between motor speeds to enable the loads to be positioned much more precisely, creating a smooth hook operation, thereby reducing the strain on the crane’s structure during lifting. In doing so it increases the life of the components such as brakes, ropes, bolts, motors and gear boxes.
