VEMA Crane B.V. belongs to Van Oorschot B.V. and has been operating in the crane industry for more than 35 years. The company has ordered two Liebherr lift cranes, among them one unit of the newly developed LR 1300 (max. lifting capacity of 300 t) with main boom and luffing jib. The second unit, a lift crane type LR 1100 (max. lifting capacity of 100 t) with main boom and fixed jib, has already been delivered.
With this new order, a total of six units have been sold to VEMA Crane during the past 12 months, among them three units LR 1100, two units LR 1160 as well as the new LR 1300 that is still due for delivery.
Liebherr said that the company chose its cranes because of the high quality standards of the LR series of lift cranes, positive past experiences with Liebherr lift cranes in the past, and a reasonable delivery time.
In 2007 alone, Liebherr has sold 20 machines in the Netherlands.
