Versatile coupling adapters from Stafford
13 January 2015 by Daniel SearleA range of rigid coupling adapters, which can extend the length of shafts and are compatible with different sizes and configurations, has been launched by Stafford Manufacturing Corporation.
The Stafford Shaft Adapters eliminate the need for major design changes when replacing motors and related drive components, says the Wilmington, Massachusetts-based company.
The couplings feature a clamp-type female end designed to fit over an output shaft, as well as a male shaft extension which is available in any length up to 16in and can be machined to customer specifications.
