Vertikal Days will follow its usual format with all-inclusive catering and free party. This year’s show includes a number of short seminars, industry meetings and technical workshops. ALLMI, the loader crane association will hold a major annual meeting for its forum members such as builders merchants, equipment dealers, transport and distribution companies and other major end users, while the CPA will host a Strategic Forum Plant Safety Group Outreach Meeting.

In terms of equipment several companies are planning new product launches. On the crane front Kranlyft/Maeda is planning to unveil a new articulated boom spider crane, alongside its other machine,s as well as a Böcker aluminium truck mounted crane on a two axle commercial chassis. NRC will have Link Belt’s new 100t TCC1100 telescopic crawler crane alongside a smaller unit. Visitors can also see the latest cranes from Terex, Tadano, Unic, Valla, JMG, Cormidi and others.

There will be two mobile tower cranes from both Spierings and Liebherr, while City Lifting will show a fast set up Comansa flat top model and Manti Cranes hopes to have one of its self-erecting tower cranes on show. There would be two other self-erecting tower crane towing units at the show, one on the Potain stand and one on the Meisterkran stand. Manitowoc is also planning to show its new synthetic crane rope on a demonstration rig.
