The first project for the new cranes took place at Strathy North Wind Farm in northern Scotland, erecting 33 Senvion MM82 turbines — including lifting 42t rotor stars and 73t nacelles.
Joining a number of existing Liebherr cranes in Windhoist’s fleet, the 1750s are rigged with the TYVEN configuration, 28m of luffer and 124t of ballast.
