Effective from October 1st, Dave Holder has taken on the role of managing Director UK at Wolffkran. Having previously spent many years with the UK tower crane rental company HTC Plant, Holder has been in the role of European Operations Director for Wolffkran in Switzerland since 2018, overseeing its Group Rental Fleet. With over four decades of experience in the crane industry, including having led operations in several countries, Wolffkran says Holder brings deep technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and a uniquely collaborative mindset. His passion for delivering outstanding customer solutions, his dedication to supporting colleagues, and his unrivalled network in the industry make him ideally suited to lead the UK business forward, the company states.

Holder returns to the UK with a strong sense of purpose and a clear vision to further strengthen our position in the market. “I am delighted to take on this new responsibility,” says Dave Holder. “Together with our strong team, I look forward to building on Wolffkran’s reputation and driving the business into its next chapter.”

Richard Coughtrey, who was managing director UK, now becomes head of group accounting. Coughtrey has served as managing director UK since 2018. Coughtrey has been part of HTC Plant since 2005 in various finance leadership roles where, Wolffkran says, he has continuously demonstrated exceptional expertise. As leader, he has driven key initiatives across the UK business and beyond, while lately simultaneously completing an MBA.

Richard Coughtrey is now head of group accounting

Returning to his financial roots, Wolffkran says Coughtrey will now help shape its group accounting with the same energy, expertise and long-term thinking mindset that have defined his leadership over the years. “It has been a privilege to lead our UK team over the past years,” says Richard Coughtrey. “I am excited to take on this new challenge and to contribute to the long-term financial strength and development of the Wolffkran Group.”
